HIV/AIDS Anti-Retroviral Zimbabwe Southern Africa Adolescents

Background:

Adolescents living with HIV face challenges to their wellbeing and antiretroviral therapy adherence, and have poor treatment outcomes. This study aimed to evaluate a peer-led differentiated service delivery (DSD) intervention on HIV clinical and psychosocial outcomes among adolescents with HIV in Zimbabwe.

The Zvandiri intervention combines facility-based care with community-based peer support delivered by trained adolescent CATS (Community Adolescent Treatment Supporters).
