VAN Visibility Analytics Supply Chain Procurement
The Visibility & Analytics Network (VAN) strives to transform pharmaceutical supply chains — moving from an "Uninformed Pull" to an "Informed Push" system of replenishment, which decants sophisticated and time-consuming supply chain planning work away from facility staff who are ill-equipped to perform it.
The VAN operates at two levels:
- At the global level, the Global VAN is designed to help harmonize procurement.
- At the country level, the Country VAN is designed to harmonise in-country supply chains from national to local levels.
The attached document presents the high-level design of the VAN.
